Imagine Choir – Saturday 9th April – A project to raise funds for Ukriane
Weobley High School is inviting you to take part in a mass choir performance of Imagine by John Lennon in order to raise money for the people of the Ukraine.
Each Choir and performer will receive a copy of the recording which we hope to share far and wide. Please give what you can in support of our singers both old and young…..music unites us with one universal language which we can all access and use to make a difference.
When: Saturday 9th April 2022 10.30am-11.30am
Where: Weobley High School (Main Hall)
What: Audio and Video recording
Here’s what you need to know………………….
- Learn the song (lyrics and tracks attached) Contact Joanne Lowry to request. staffjl@weobleyhigh.co.uk
- Arrive at Weobley High School on Saturday 9th April 10.30am ready to record. (1hr max)
- Please wear the colours of the Ukrainian flag as we are also hoping to record video footage on the day.
- We are asking for a minimum donation of £1 to sing but please give what you can, fundraising with friends and family.
- Recordings will then be available to buy through the various choirs and performers.
